Six leading chip industry groups have jointly penned a letter to President Biden, lambasting the administration for hastily imposing new export control measures without adequate consultation with the industry. Industry groups are apprehensive that these measures will undermine the competitiveness and market share of American companies, potentially even reversing previous policies toward China, with detrimental effects on the revenues of related enterprises.
