The tech blogger @DigitalChatStation has recently shed light on some key specifications of Qualcomm's upcoming SM8735/Snapdragon 8s Elite processor. Boasting a configuration of 1*3.21GHz + 3*3.01GHz + 2*2.80GHz + 2*2.02GHz, this processor is equipped with the Adreno 825 GPU. Its powerful big core architecture, featuring X4+A720, echoes that of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. On the Geekbench 6 benchmark platform, the Snapdragon 8s Elite scores impressively at 1967 for single-core performance and 5827 for multi-core, albeit slightly trailing behind the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3's 2200 for single-core and 7000 for multi-core. Industry insiders anticipate the launch of devices powered by this processor around April 2025. These devices are expected to support 90W fast charging, boast a battery capacity of up to 7000mAh, and feature a state-of-the-art 1.5K LTPS display with ultra-narrow bezels on all four sides.
