SK Hynix has revealed that it has inked long-term supply agreements (LTAs) with 14 key clients, encompassing major global cloud service providers. Moreover, it is in the preliminary stages of talks with select customers about extending the standard five-year agreement terms. At present, the volume of supply secured through LTAs accounts for more than 50% of the company's total production capacity for 2027 and 2028. Guided by a clear view of demand trends, the company is set to prioritize the expansion of its production capacity. With the inaugural phase of the Yongin wafer fabrication plant slated to commence operations next year, coupled with robust infrastructure investments both domestically and internationally, the scale of investment is projected to surge significantly compared to the current year.
