On October 20, news surfaced that Guotai Junan Securities (Hong Kong) Limited is set to release a supplementary listing document on October 20, 2026. The company has plans to issue four European-style call warrants, which will be settled in cash and are linked to the ordinary H shares of Hua Hong Semiconductor, Beijing Zhipu Huazhang Technology, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL), and China Life Insurance. These warrants are scheduled for launch on October 16, 2026, with issuance following on October 21, and listing on October 22 of the same year. The warrants will expire between May 3 and May 5, 2027, with all settlements to be made in Hong Kong dollars. The decision to issue these warrants was approved by the issuer's board of directors on February 18, 2019. However, the final listing is contingent upon obtaining approval from the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
