Sources say that Musk's chip project, Terafab, may receive its first EUV lithography equipment by mid-next year. Research institution SemiAnalysis predicts that the construction of Terafab will be completed within 15 months, followed by a six-month period for installing equipment and production facilities. Due to the progress of factory construction, the EUV lithography equipment may remain idle for a period after arrival.
