Japan's graphics card market is currently undergoing another wave of price increases. Due to a constrained memory supply and a sharp rise in demand for artificial intelligence computing, the prices of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards have soared in Japan's retail sector. Specifically, certain retail prices for the mid-tier RTX 5060 Ti 16GB model have surpassed $1,200, with the high-end RTX 5080 model exceeding $2,400. As a result, graphics cards aimed at mainstream gamers are becoming prohibitively expensive.
