Data released by the South Korean government on Thursday showed that driven by the global AI investment boom, South Korea's exports in September surged by 83.5% year-on-year to reach $120.9 billion, a record high, marking the 16th consecutive month of growth. Customs data indicated that export freight volume increased by 62.0%, surpassing market expectations. Notably, semiconductor exports more than tripled year-on-year, hitting a new high of $60.3 billion.
