On September 30, Cambricon disclosed that Liang Jun, the ex-deputy general manager of the company who departed in early 2022, had revised his compensation claims in an ongoing labor dispute. Specifically, Liang has escalated his demand for losses tied to equity incentives from RMB 4.287 billion to a staggering RMB 27.832 billion. It's crucial to note that this figure is solely Liang's assertion and does not reflect the court's ultimate verdict. Previously, Liang faced defeat in all six lawsuits concerning equity incentives between the two parties, and the repurchase case is now at the judicial enforcement stage. The present lawsuit has not yet commenced trial proceedings. Cambricon has expressed its intention to vigorously defend against the lawsuit, emphasizing that the legal proceedings will not disrupt the company's daily research and development activities or overall operations.
