Intel is making solid progress in its preparations for the mass production of the 14A process, with plans to achieve a monthly production capacity of approximately 6,000 wafers by the end of 2027. In parallel, the yield rate for the 18A process—a pivotal milestone in Intel’s resurgence strategy—has reportedly reached 85%, setting a robust foundation for future large-scale production. The company also revealed that the 14A process will enter risk trial production in the latter half of 2027, with full-scale mass production slated for 2028. Furthermore, Intel has commenced risk production for the enhanced 18A-P variant and intends to provide cutting-edge process nodes, including 18A-P, 18A-PT, and 14A, to external clients.
