The chip showcases an 8-core architecture arranged in a 2+3+3 cluster configuration, boasting a peak clock speed of 5068MHz and integrating an Adreno 850 GPU for enhanced graphics performance. Additionally, an LPDDR5-compatible variant of the SM8975 has surfaced on secondhand marketplaces. This particular version comes as a ball-grid array (BGA) test unit, noted for its high quality and unencrypted design, though its clock speed is capped at 4GHz. The 100 and 101 iterations of this chip are identified as lower-clock-speed variants.
