On September 5th, Huagong Zhengyuan, a subsidiary of Huagong Tech, made an announcement stating that it will present its 100G SFP112 optical module in a dynamic manner at CIOE 2026. This particular module has been meticulously crafted to cater to the needs of 5G-A, 6G wireless fronthaul, as well as high-bandwidth Ethernet data interconnection. It stands out as the world's most compact packaged 100G optical module solution. The SFP112 package adheres to the SFP+MSA standard, enabling the installation of a greater number of 100G ports within the same panel space when compared to traditional QSFP28 solutions.
