At the IFA exhibition, NVIDIA took the wraps off the comprehensive specifications and launch roadmap for its inaugural highly integrated system-on-chip (SoC), dubbed 'N1X,' tailored for the consumer-grade RTX Spark PC platform. Seamlessly blending the Grace CPU, built on the Arm architecture, with the cutting-edge Blackwell RTX GPU architecture, the N1X is poised for an official rollout in October this year, in collaboration with OEM partners.
The N1X comes in two distinct configurations to cater to diverse user needs. The premium variant boasts a GPU with 6144 cores, a 20-core Grace CPU, and the capability to support up to 128GB of unified memory, delivering unparalleled performance for demanding tasks. Meanwhile, the other variant is equipped with a 5120-core GPU, an 18-core Grace CPU, and supports up to 32GB of unified memory, offering a balance of power and efficiency.
Leading manufacturers like ASUS and Lenovo are set to launch devices powered by the N1X chip, specifically targeting the high-end AI PC market. These devices are designed to meet the needs of professional creators, AI developers, and gamers who demand top-tier performance and cutting-edge technology.
