Data released by the U.S.-based independent macro market research newsletter Kobeissi Letter on the X platform shows that Nvidia's market capitalization has surpassed the combined market capitalization of the five sectors—energy, utilities, real estate, consumer staples, and materials—within the S&P 500 index. Meanwhile, excluding the information technology, communication services, financial, healthcare, and consumer discretionary sectors, Nvidia's market capitalization also exceeds that of all other industry sectors. According to Kobeissi Letter's statistics, Nvidia's market capitalization currently equates to 16.3% of the U.S. GDP.
