On August 28, New Microsemiconductor made an announcement stating that its 6-inch Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) high-power Fabry-Pérot (FP) laser process platform has successfully undergone technical validation and capacity expansion. This milestone signifies the platform's official entry into the phase of extensive large-scale production. Presently, the platform has consistently supplied thousands of wafers to prominent domestic clients. Moreover, its overall yield places it at the forefront among domestic foundries of its kind, underscoring the company's accomplishment in achieving efficient and dependable mass production enhancements within its optoelectronic sector.
