On August 28, 2026, Intel's premium processor, the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, experienced its first-ever price drop below the $200 mark, now retailing at $199.99 (approximately RMB 1,418), thus bringing the entry-level cost under RMB 1,500. According to the latest pricing information from North American retailer Micro Center, a single unit is available for just $199.99. Launched in March 2026, this processor boasts 24 cores and 24 threads, with a base power consumption of 125W and a maximum turbo power consumption of 250W. It supports DDR5-7200 memory and CUDIMM modules, and incorporates iBOT technology to boost performance. With this price reduction, its cost-performance ratio has seen a marked improvement, exerting significant competitive pressure on rival products, including those from AMD.
