Nvidia’s second-quarter earnings outperformed projections, leading Morgan Stanley to hike its target stock price by 4%, from $288 to $300. The firm retained its 'Overweight' recommendation and named Nvidia as its top pick within the semiconductor sector, with a target price range spanning from a low of $160 to a high of $350. Nvidia’s Chief Financial Officer, Colette Kress, projected a substantial revenue jump of around 70% for the upcoming fiscal year, outstripping Morgan Stanley’s forecast of 52%, and anticipating annualized revenues to hit $80 billion by October. With Rubin’s production capacity on the rise, the competitive landscape for market share is poised for transformation. Additionally, Morgan Stanley revised upwards its revenue growth projections for Nvidia’s fiscal years 2027 and 2028 to 70% and 40.6%, respectively, equating to revenues of $405.968 billion and $690.168 billion. Concurrently, it boosted its non-GAAP earnings per share estimates for these fiscal years to $9.21 and $15.01, respectively.
