Apple recently notified some customers with unshipped Mac mini orders that their originally purchased M4 chip models will be upgraded to the new M6 chip models for free, with no change in price. The M6 chip is manufactured using a 2nm process, offering a significant performance boost, with AI performance enhanced up to 4 times and graphics performance up to 2 times that of the M4.
