Based on reports from Reuters and the Financial Times, chip behemoth NVIDIA is engaged in discussions with leading Wall Street investment entities, including Apollo Global Management, Blackstone Group, BlackRock's Global Infrastructure Partners, Brookfield Asset Management, Goldman Sachs, and KKR. The objective is to collectively devise a $500 billion financing solution for AI infrastructure. The strategy involves establishing an independent computing power financing platform to garner third-party capital for AI infrastructure development. These funds will be allocated to areas such as the procurement of AI chips, electricity generation, and the construction of data centers. NVIDIA is set to assume the role of a collaborative leader and industry coordinator, rather than acting as the sole financier. Should this plan materialize, it will stand as one of the most substantial AI infrastructure financing endeavors to date.
