According to media reports, South Korean President Lee Jae-myung will preside over a meeting at 2 p.m. on Monday (the 10th) to discuss how to accelerate the large-scale investment plan for semiconductor manufacturing facilities and artificial intelligence (AI) data centers. This meeting marks the second of its kind since the Lee Jae-myung administration announced the 'Three Megaprojects' in late June. The 'Three Megaprojects' plan involves large-scale investments in semiconductor production clusters, physical AI, and AI data centers in regional areas. The South Korean presidential office stated that the meeting will discuss measures to support the rapid implementation of the investment plan and explore ways to extend the investment dividends to regions across the country and the entire industrial ecosystem.
