On August 6th, ASR Microelectronics made an announcement stating that the demand for its cloud-based customized chips remains consistently strong. Simultaneously, there has been a steady and continuous rise in the demand for end-side chip customization. In the robotics industry specifically, there has been a conspicuous uptick in the demand for customized chip projects. These projects encompass a wide range of areas, including robot vision and the control systems for the robot's "brain" and "body". At present, the company's existing ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) orders cover a diverse array of fields. These include cloud AI (Artificial Intelligence), end-side AI, and smart wearables such as ARVR (Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality) devices. Among them, cloud computing power chips constitute the largest proportion. Moreover, the company has experienced a substantial surge in the shipment volumes of its 5G eMBB (Enhanced Mobile Broadband) chips. It boasts sufficient production capacity and does not face any issues related to chip shortages.
