As reported by Digital Daily, Apple recently engaged in negotiations with ChangXin Memory regarding the supply pricing of mobile DRAM, such as LPDDR5X, with the objective of lowering the production expenses for its forthcoming iPhones and other smart gadgets. Nevertheless, ChangXin Memory turned down Apple's proposal for a price reduction. The company firmly maintained that its pricing should not fall below that of Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. This stance underscores a significant shift in bargaining power within the DRAM market, moving from end-device makers to memory suppliers.
