Notably, PetroChina's mobile energy storage power service project, initiated in 2026, emerged as the largest centralized procurement endeavor in the domestic market with clearly defined technical specifications, boasting a scale of 982MWh. GGII forecasts that China's mobile energy storage shipments will hit 1.9GWh in 2025 and escalate to 3.5GWh in 2026, marking a year-on-year increase exceeding 80%. By 2030, shipments are anticipated to soar to 15GWh, exhibiting a compound annual growth rate of roughly 40% from 2026 to 2030.
