Owing to prevailing supply constraints, the fixed transaction price of PC DRAM is projected to witness a significant quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) uptick of 15% to 20% in the third quarter of 2026. This price hike is largely attributed to the escalating demand for server memory among cloud service providers. In response to this trend, memory manufacturers are strategically planning to curtail the supply of PC DRAM in 2027, redirecting their focus towards the more lucrative server memory segment.
