The R&D process for Changxin Storage’s LPDDR6 is drawing to a close. Back in March of this year, reports surfaced indicating that the company is expediting the product’s market introduction. It has already supplied samples to major clients, with a projected launch and commencement of high-volume production slated for the latter half of 2026. The inaugural LPDDR6 product design boasts a remarkable speed of 12,800Mbps. When paired with an SoC, it achieves a foundational operational speed of 10,667Mbps. Additionally, it features a die capacity of 16Gb and employs a 1295 Ball POP packaging solution. In comparison to LPDDR5X, this new offering demonstrates notable enhancements in terms of low-power design and RAS (Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability) capabilities.
