On July 29, 2026, the three key indices of China's A-share market concluded the trading session with collective declines. The Shanghai Composite Index ended the day 0.62% lower, while the Shenzhen Component Index tumbled by 2.73%, and the ChiNext Index suffered a more pronounced drop of 3.97%.
In terms of sectoral performance, the liquor, automobile, and banking sectors emerged as the top gainers. Notably, Shede Spirits surged to its daily limit, Seres Auto climbed more than 5%, and China Construction Bank advanced over 3%.
Conversely, the communication equipment, electronic components, and semiconductor sectors faced significant headwinds. Allwinner Technology plummeted by over 19%, while Jeptek and Unisoc Instruments both declined by more than 14%.
