On July 20, Wang Weiming, the Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office that due to strong global demand for artificial intelligence, green and low-carbon transformation, and other factors, in the first half of 2026, the export volumes of products such as integrated circuits, electronic components, and wind turbine generator units, denominated in RMB, increased by 88.7%, 62.6%, and 35.6% year-on-year, respectively.
