On July 18th, reports emerged that Anhui SmartX Technology Co., Ltd., the chip-focused subsidiary of NIO, made its first independent appearance at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference. During the event, SmartX not only showcased its SmartX NX9031 chip and in-vehicle domain control products but also introduced innovative AI offerings, including the "RuiDong" embodied intelligence development platform and the distributed intelligent agent platform. Since its inception in June 2025, SmartX has successfully secured nearly 3 billion yuan in funding. The company now boasts a comprehensive product lineup, featuring a variety of chips such as the NX9031X, NX9031U, and NX9031C, which collectively span three cutting-edge AI domains: intelligent assisted driving, embodied intelligence, and agent reasoning.
