According to projections from market research firm Citrini Research, the global DRAM market is set to encounter a supply deficit of 28.7 billion GB (equivalent to 28.7EB) by 2030. This looming shortage is nearing the present-day global yearly production capacity of 40 billion GB (40EB). The anticipated scarcity will constitute 18% of the total demand projected for that year, indicating an extended phase of constrained supply and demand dynamics within the sector.
