Wintest Electronics has revealed its intention to acquire a 41.17% shareholding in Shanghai Wintest Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter known as 'Shanghai Wintest') from 13 trading entities, among them Peng Qian. This will be achieved through a combination of share issuance, convertible corporate bonds, and cash transactions, while also seeking to raise corresponding funds (referred to as matching funds). At present, the valuation for the target assets remains undetermined. Shanghai Wintest, which has now become a majority-owned subsidiary of Wintest Electronics, is primarily engaged in the research and development, manufacturing, and distribution of semiconductor front-end metrology and inspection equipment. Trading of the company's stocks and convertible bonds is set to recommence on July 16.
