AMD has recently and discreetly augmented its processor portfolio, rolling out 11 new APUs boasting the 'Hawk Point' architecture. This strategic move further refines the market segmentation for both the Ryzen 200 series and the Ryzen 100 series. Specifically, the Ryzen 200 series has welcomed 7 novel models, available in configurations of either 6 cores or 8 cores. These models seamlessly integrate standard Zen 4 cores with a hybrid Zen 4/Zen 4c architecture, and are outfitted with Radeon 740M, 760M, or 780M integrated graphics for enhanced performance. Meanwhile, the Ryzen 100 series has introduced 4 new variants, offering CPU configurations spanning from 4 cores to 8 cores. These incorporate Radeon 700M series graphics and are crafted using a cutting-edge 4nm process. Anticipation is high that these new offerings will predominantly find their place in OEM laptops and mini PCs.
