On June 24, ASML (ASML.O) and the Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) unveiled a partnership aimed at collectively driving forward the industrialization of photonic chips. This collaboration will leverage TNO's pilot production line for photonic chips, situated at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven in the Netherlands. ASML will contribute manufacturing technical support in a phased manner, encompassing the provision of DUV and I-Line lithography equipment. Upon the project's commencement, the facility is poised to attain large-scale production of 6-inch wafer-scale indium phosphide (InP) photonic chips.
