Recently, a research team led by Professor Wang Jun from Professor Jiang Yadong's group at the School of Optoelectronic Science and Engineering has achieved a significant breakthrough in the realm of optoelectronic detection and intelligent perception. They have successfully developed a high-resolution, self-powered infrared detection and imaging system that operates without the need for a readout chip. The groundbreaking research has been published in the esteemed international academic journal, Nature Communications, under the title "Monolithically Integrated Photon-Mapping Infrared Imager." The University of Electronic Science and Technology of China stands as the primary institution behind this research, with Professor Wang Jun and Professor Hu Weida from the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly serving as the corresponding authors of the paper.
