Tata Electronics, a key Indian supplier for Apple, has officially acknowledged a recent cybersecurity breach and has promptly launched response measures. Despite the incident, the company’s day-to-day business operations continue without disruption. The ransomware group known as World Leaks has posted data on the dark web, purportedly sourced from Tata Electronics. This data dump includes over 200,000 files, amounting to more than 630GB, and allegedly contains parts designs, technical specifications, and confidential trade secret documents pertaining to both Apple and Tesla. Apple is currently conducting a thorough investigation into the matter and performing a comprehensive analysis of the situation.
