With NAND manufacturers channeling the majority of their production capacity towards the enterprise market, PC OEMs find themselves unable to secure adequate supplies directly from these manufacturers. Consequently, they are compelled to seek complete drive solutions from module vendors. This shift has led to the near-total disappearance of the retail SSD market.
