As per reports, the foundry division of Samsung Electronics has clinched its first-ever contract manufacturing service order for chips from Neuralink, the brain-computer interface venture helmed by Musk. This collaboration will involve the production of Neuralink's 'fourth-generation' chips, with the ambitious goal of achieving mass production by the close of 2027. These cutting-edge chips will be crafted utilizing a 4nm process technology, with trial production already having kicked off in May 2026.
