Recently, the comprehensive planning for the Longhua-Pinghu North World-Class Semiconductor Tech City in Shenzhen has officially kicked off. This project stands as a pivotal strategic initiative in Shenzhen, aimed at ensuring the autonomy and controllability of the chip industry chain. It will be developed within the framework of "1 core area + 4 supporting areas + 1 innovation ecosystem," encompassing urban renewal, land preparation, and other key aspects. The full planning scheme is anticipated to be completed by 2027-2028.

Spanning a planning area of approximately 65 square kilometers, with a core development zone covering 20.47 square kilometers, the project is set to propel the upgrading of the local semiconductor industry cluster. It aspires to establish a world-class semiconductor industry and technology hub, thereby reshaping the landscape of high-end manufacturing in the city.
