During Computex Taipei 2026, multiple sources informed Dutch tech media outlet Tweakers that AMD's next-generation Radeon gaming graphics cards based on the RDNA 5 architecture are not expected to hit the market soon, with the earliest possible release being in the third quarter of 2027. Some partners even anticipate a delay until late 2027 or early 2028. This means gamers will have to wait at least two to two and a half years for the arrival of the new generation of Radeon gaming GPUs.
