On June 2, Dike Share made an announcement stating that the China National Intellectual Property Administration had declared two invention patents of its controlled subsidiary, Solabrook (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhejiang Soltec), invalid. The patents in question were “Thick film paste comprising lead-tellurium-lithium-titanium-oxide and its application in semiconductor device manufacturing” (Patent No. 201180032359.1) and “Thick film paste comprising lead-tellurium-lithium-oxide and its application in semiconductor device manufacturing” (Patent No. 201180032701.8). Dike Share expressed its disagreement with this decision and intends to file administrative litigation at the Beijing Intellectual Property Court. Previously, Zhejiang Soltec had already initiated lawsuits in multiple courts over alleged patent infringements, with the total amount at stake reaching 800 million yuan.
