Recently, the R & D and production base of Wuhan Maxcell Semiconductor Co., Ltd. in Future City officially commenced construction. The project has a total construction area of approximately 67,000 square meters and a total investment of nearly 1.5 billion yuan. It is planned to be completed in July 2027 and put into production in October of the same year. The project will establish a modern optical chip industrial platform that integrates R & D, manufacturing, and headquarters office functions, helping the company seize the opportunities presented by the upgrading of AI computing power and optical communications.
