On May 29, Guangzhou unveiled the outline of its 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development, emphasizing the need for significant progress in the integration of localized AI computing chips and dynamic scheduling technologies for heterogeneous computing. The plan aims to establish an autonomous and controllable architecture for intelligent computing centers. Additionally, it calls for advancements in key technologies for vertical large-scale models, rapid technological breakthroughs in embodied AI and intelligent unmanned systems—such as multimodal perception in robots, bionic dexterous hands, and autonomous learning and decision-making capabilities—as well as support for the research, development, and product creation of intelligent sensors, EDA design simulation tools, core materials, advanced processes, and critical equipment.
