Meanwhile, the S&P 500 Index remained relatively stable, registering a negligible increase of 0.01% to finish at 7,409.12 points.
Within the technology sector, notable movements were observed. Micron Technology and Qualcomm both witnessed upward trajectories in their stock prices. On the other hand, Alibaba, following the release of its earnings report, saw its shares decline by 2.6%. Conversely, Tencent's stock price climbed by 2.3%.
