From May 7 to 9, the 2026 Mobile Cloud Conference took place at the Suzhou International Expo Center. During the event, CAS Cooling Tech (Wuhan) Co., Ltd., a prominent player in China’s neutral atom quantum computing sector, officially introduced the world’s first dual-core neutral atom quantum computer, named the "Hanyuan No.2". Leveraging neutral atom array technology, this cutting-edge machine incorporates 200 qubits and enables parallel computing alongside a "primary-secondary" operational mode. Notably, it has achieved substantial enhancements in critical performance indicators, including qubit scale, two-qubit gate fidelity, and coherence time. Its overall performance is now five times greater than that of its predecessor, representing a significant leap forward in China's atomic quantum computing landscape.
