Recently, the year-end bonus scheme of SK Hynix has garnered widespread attention on a global scale. According to projections from Macquarie Securities, an international investment bank, if SK Hynix attains an operating profit of KRW 447 trillion by 2027, then, based on allocating 10% of the operating profit as bonuses and considering there were roughly 35,000 employees at the end of last year, the total bonus pool could amount to approximately KRW 44.7 trillion. In this scenario, Korean employees might receive an average bonus of up to KRW 1.29 billion each, which is roughly equivalent to RMB 6.1 million.
