On May 8, 2026, TSMC unveiled its revenue results for April, revealing that its consolidated revenue climbed to NT$410.73 billion. This marks a notable year-on-year surge of 17.5%, albeit with a slight month-on-month dip of 1.1%. For the period spanning January to April this year, TSMC’s cumulative revenue soared to NT$1.54483 trillion, up by an impressive 29.9% compared to the same period last year. This growth was primarily fueled by a robust influx of orders for advanced manufacturing processes and a strong demand for AI chips. Looking ahead, TSMC anticipates its revenue for the second quarter to range between US$39 billion and US$40.2 billion, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 32%. Moreover, the company has revised its full-year revenue growth projection upwards, now expecting it to exceed 30%. In terms of capital expenditures, TSMC expects them to edge closer to the upper end of the US$56 billion range, underscoring its confidence in the sustained market demand driven by AI and the overall economic outlook.
