On May 6, during an earnings call, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of MPS, a global frontrunner in power chips, disclosed that owing to a surge in demand for power supplies within optical modules and switches, the company has escalated its manufacturing capacity goal from $4 billion to roughly $6 billion. The CFO mentioned that the robust order momentum, which commenced in the previous year, persisted into the first quarter of this year. Consequently, MPS is optimistic about further elevating its revenue target for the current year, anticipating a year-on-year growth of around 85%.
