On May 4 (local time), Intel announced two key executive appointments to comprehensively strengthen its core business and AI innovation strategy. Among them, Alex Katouzian, a former core executive at Qualcomm, has joined Intel as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Client Computing and Physical AI Group. He will be responsible for driving the synergistic development of Intel's client computing business and physical AI systems, exploring emerging markets such as robotics, autonomous machines, and edge AI devices, and facilitating Intel's transition from traditional PC business to AI PCs and edge intelligent terminals.
