The unveiling of the DeepSeek V4 artificial intelligence model has set off a surge in demand for AI models powered by Huawei chips, propelling a notable uptick in orders for Huawei's Ascend 950 AI chips. Prominent Chinese internet giants, including ByteDance, Tencent, and Alibaba, are actively engaged in discussions with Huawei to place new chip orders. The Ascend 950PR chip stands out with its core computing power being 2.87 times greater than that of Nvidia's H20. Moreover, it boasts self-developed HBM memory, ensuring complete autonomy and control over the entire supply chain. ByteDance and Alibaba have already commenced large-scale procurement, with leading domestic tech firms collectively ordering 450,000 Ascend 950PR chips from Huawei.
