Following an eight-month streak of price hikes, the DDR5 memory market has recently undergone a notable shift. Globally, prices for consumer-grade DDR5 have retreated from their peak, putting an end to the prolonged upward trajectory. In the domestic market, the cost of mainstream DDR5 memory modules with frequencies of 5600-6000MHz and a capacity of 16GB (single sticks) has dropped to the range of 450-600 yuan. Meanwhile, the price of 32GB twin-pack kits has also declined, falling back below the 1,000 yuan mark. On the international stage, even high-end DDR5 models have witnessed price cuts of close to 20%.
