On March 16, POSCO Future M, the battery materials division of South Korea's POSCO, announced that it had signed a supply agreement for synthetic graphite anode materials for lithium-ion batteries, with a contract value of 1,014.945 billion won (approximately US$675 million). The contract was signed with a global automaker and will run from October 1, 2027, to September 30, 2032.
