On March 10, at the SEMICON/FPD China 2026 press conference, Feng Li, President of SEMI China, stated that driven by AI computing power and the global digital economy, the semiconductor market is expected to surpass the $1 trillion mark by 2026, ahead of previous forecasts. According to WSTS data, global semiconductor sales are projected to grow by 25.6% year-on-year to $791.7 billion in 2025, and increase by another 26.3% to $975 billion in 2026.
